Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 4:12PM After having heard Loren Long's great talk at the SCBWI Summer Conference, I was intrigued to hear today that he was also the illustrator of U.S. President Obama's picture book, Of Thee I Sing: A Letter To My Daughters.
Here's a video interview with Loren Long about his picture book, Otis!. The video includes some interest technique discussion partway through.

I read about Obama's book in the L.A. Times and I'm definitely going to get it. Loren Long is one of my favorite c.b. illustrators. I enjoyed the video, Debbie...thanks for posting it.
