Apologies, but I lack the time to help advise individuals with promotion and/or marketing (even those who have generously offered to pay me for my time, which I appreciate); I used to always try to help, but these days I'm getting a LOT of requests. With my current work commitments, I simply am unable to grant these kind of requests.

There is a ton of useful information online for authors and illustratings about promoting themselves and their books, creating an effective website, blogging and so on.

My biggest piece of advice: No one type of publicity or marketing or promotion will work for everyone. Find what you're comfortable with and what suits your personality, and make that work.
