Debbie is available for virtual visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her presentations and workshops can be adjusted to suit all age levels, from kindergarten to college students to educators and other professionals.

Free - Debbie is offering a limited number of free Flipgrid Q&A visits to educators. See below for details.

Paid - Details to be announced. Options will include a classroom partnership (conversations between Debbie and students over multiple sessions), individual responses, etc.

FREE FLIPGRID VISIT:

A free Q&A via a video message on Flipgrid: Details and contact form here. If you are a school with limited funding, she encourages you to check out this option - Flipgrid is 100% free for all educators; find out more info about Flipgrid on their website. To accommodate as many schools as possible, Debbie asks that schools limit free visits to one per year. For her free Flipgrid visit with educators, Debbie is happy to post a short video reply (max 3 min) to questions about any of her books.

PAID FLIPGRID VISITS:

Debbie has had a number of educators ask about the possibility of a more involved Flipgrid visit: replying to individual students, for example, as well as drawing or writing workshops and follow-ups. She lacks the time to do this for free, especially since her own income has been affected by the pandemic.

However, she's delighted to announce that starting this fall, she will be offering a more in-depth Flipgrid visit with format flexibility, in addition to the free Q&A option. Details and fee to be announced. Debbie made sure this was ok with Flipgrid, and they completely understand the need for some types of author connections to be monetized. 'Flipgrid is a free platform and will always be free. However, we hope folks feel empowered to use Flipgrid however they want! If authors need to monetize connections, that is their choice, but there won't be an official Flipgrid 'program' for this.  Because Flipgrid is free, it doesn't mean you can't charge for your services and connect in ways that you choose to - which might including Flipgrid.'"
