CREATIVE HARVESTING Extra Notes

This page of resources is for the attendees of my SCBWI Illustrator's Intensive session.

 

MATERIALS I USE IN MY CREATIVE JOURNALS:

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Aquash Water Brushes

Derwent Inktense Blocks

Artgraf Soft Carbon Pencils

Lamy Safari Pen

Desiderata Daedalus (fountain pen that uses a dip nib). Here's a video of me drawing with my Daedalus:

 I use a Zebra G nib with my Daedalus pen: Zebra G chrome - Zebra G Titanium

My DIY travel watercolour sets created out of Altoids tins

My fountain pen blog

Rhodia notebooks (I use them because they are fountain pen-friendly)

Platinum Carbon Black ink (permanent lightfast ink that is safe for fountain pens, though you do nned to maintain/clean your pens regularly)
